New Music Friday: Rachel Foxx 🔊🔥 

Welcome back to another #NewMusicFriday! In the midst of lunching her new collaboration 'Never Say Never' E.P. with Joss Ryan we caught up with the very cool Rachel Foxx at our studio in London. In between some serious giggles the East London native gave us some inside thoughts on her creative process, her pandemic experience and her entrepreneurial endeavours.

 

  1. Who is Rachel Foxx? 

I'm an R&B and soul singer from Hackney <3 

 

  1. Tell us about your new project , what's to follow? 

This new project is a collaboration with my long time producer and friend Joss Ryan, its a fun UKG vibe for the summer, super nostalgic. After this its just more and more music. and shows soon!! 

 

  1. Who's is your inspiration? 

I'm inspired by household names like Erykah Badu, Usher, Jill Scott, Jon B & Donell Jones.  I'm inspired by people, life, love, everything really.

 

  1. How did Covid -19 impacted your creative process? 

Covid pushed me to start recording at home more, it pushed me to get my set up all the way together honey. At first it was weird and I din't know what to do but then I had to keep the creativity rolling.

 

 

  1. We know you are more that a musician , you are an entrepreneur. Tell as about that?

I really believe in diversifying your income - of course music is my first love and what I focus on most however last year I got into property through my cousin and it's been great, I love it.
