We're back with our next #NewMusicFriday! We linked up with Bristol-based rapper and Gardna! The talented MC has been a big part of the UK scene for the last few years and has steadily built up a solid reputation for bringing the good vibes, among both his fans and his musical peers.
We caught up with Gardna before he smashed his headline London show at Hootenanny Brixton with his big bad sounds. We had a chat and heard more about his inspirations, latest single 'Gardna x DRS - R.A.V.E.A.S.A.P ' and his upcoming projects... 👀
1.Hey! Who is Gardna?
I’m Gardna, and I'm a MC, Vocalist pushing the boundaries within sound system music Bristol to the worl
2. We love your latest release ‘R.A.V.E.A.S.A.P’ with DRS! Tell us a bit more about the inspiration behind the track and how the collaboration came about?
We wrote the track at Devon Analog Studio, the production of the track is massively inspired by the surroundings, the sound and the equipment at the mighty DAS Studio. Lyrically me and DRS go head to head and express our feels to go out raving.

3. How has your Time & Space Tour been so far? The London show was wicked!
Thank you! We loved the London show too, so many special guests in the building. Tour was outrageous start to finish, not one bad show! Cheers to everyone who came.
4. Who inspires you musically?
I dunno, nobody in particular actually, I'm always just listening to all sorts really. I know it sounds simple but I think that alone is keeping things interesting for me. Taking inspiration and elements everything I listen too
Few people, Liam Bailey is definitely on the list. Outstanding vocalist.
