Ready for the weekend!? We've got you with our next #NewMusicFriday feature. This week we caught up with South London artist Camper Caine who is giving you some you some new heat today with his 'Camp Fire I' E.P.

We kicked it round the campfire and learned more about his exciting new project, gained an insight into his sources of inspiration and heard what's next for the talented artist!

Who are you?

I am Camper Caine, I’m an artist from South London. I tell my story over Afro-influenced hip hop beats. Vibes.

Tell as about your Camp fire project?

Camp Fire I, is the first instalment of a series of volumes. It’s a 5 track EP that introduces the world to the sound of D’Caine. This tape is a milestone to me as it's the first body of work in which I've found my absolute sound. It takes the listener on a journey and helps them better understand me as an artist.

Who's is your inspiration?

I'm inspired by the events that happen in my life whether good or bad, I believe honesty helps people connect to the music. Sound-wise, I'm inspired by good music.
