#ArtThursdays
Thames-Side Studios Open Studios 2023
Saturday 10th June - Sunday 11th June
Lydia Wood (Studio 5-228) has set herself a (potentially lifelong) mission to draw every pub in London, all 3,450 (ish) of them!
Lydia’s Pub Project intends to include all the backstreet boozers, the locals only, the gastro, the tourist trap, the makeovers, the traditional, the old favourite and the new. By leaving no stone unturned, this project aims to be unbiased; by documenting and celebrating every single pub in this city.
After all, everyone has their local.

Thames-Side Studios Lounge is located on the second floor of Unit 0 and open to all studio holders and by appointment. For general Thames-Side Studios enquiries please email info@thames-sidestudios.co.uk

Tommy Ramsay (Studio TB-259) presents a new series of works, Songs from a Room, in the Viewing Room.
Though each painting in this show is self-contained, they hold conversations with each other, testing out languages, nudging at the question of what painting can be, trying to unlock the syntax to the endless question of what painting is.
We met when we were still young,
We peered through the shadows to see the road ahead,
Holding onto each other as the seasons changed,
Through distance and closeness,
We stand on the threshold of a new life.
