Elinor Fahrman - 'Art in the Age of Now' Exhibition #ArtThursdays
Meet Elinor Fahrman, the creative genius who’s evolved in her bubble within the field of artistry. Examples of her masterpieces could result in curious expressions since she thrives on producing original illustration aesthetics with a vivid focus on the finer details using a dynamic set of artistic tools.

Fahrman’s artworks transport you into an imaginative world infused with vibrancy, with her take on atmospheric cityscapes and artsy visuals on Japan and the USA. The nature of her art comes from discovering beauty in the mundane, the unusual and discarded - reviving existence into lifeless objects.
During Stööki’s encounter with the artist, we were in the presence of large backdrops displaying the history of Gaz’s Rockin’ Blues at Notting Hill Carnival. Fahrman’s inspiration stems from ongoing trending themes such as the gypsies or the roaring ’20s, which she magically renovates into unique bundles of illustrations.
Many magazine outlets, record companies, set designers, and music festivals didn’t hesitate to acquire her creativity in their projects - not to mention several galleries across London, Sweden, and Japan couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to display her artwork. In addition, Fahrman’s broadened her horizons to publishing a children’s book - Stella in Paris - that she wrote in collaboration with Per Hagman.
STELLA IN PARIS - BONNI CARLSEN 2020
Unfortunately, Notting Hill carnival didn’t commence this year, so she couldn’t wow us with more exciting backdrops. But the good news is that Fahrman has many commissions from numerous magazines to look forward to, and she was able to participate in this year’s summer festival known as the Elephant Camp.
On another note, the artist has also contributed to the music industry as a certified DJ. She plays various musical genres: the 1940s/50s, music, Blues, RnB, 60s soul, early Jamaican records 45” singles only, and Rock n Roll. Unfortunately, she was inclined to pause on this passion during the lockdown of 2020 as she couldn’t play any gigs; luckily, this opened up ample time to draw and prosper!
